Sometimes in my travels, I find quilts in unexpected places. Such is the occurrence of rest stop quilts in Iowa. There was no expectation of quilts in the rest stop on I-80 near Davenport, Iowa. One of my goals for this year is to finish binding and tagging 9 quilts that need just that. Well, this quilt is the second one completed, and I am doing a happy dance! YIPPEE!! A UFO COMPLETE

As of January 7, 2023, I finally put the last stitch in the binding of the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt from 2020. It was one of the quilts in my post last week that needed to be bound. Yippee!! A UFO complete. This lovely quilt came back from the machine quilter. I trimmed up the edges and got it ready to bind. Then I got distracted by some other project. Yep, it suddenly became a quilting UFO. Shame on me….
