Some days the best that can be said is that it would have been good to stay in bed that morning. All of you have been there. Some days a good dose of humor, quilting, and getting by is the best place to be.
This past week has been a “grin and bear it” kind of week. Having a sense of humor, and a quilting project to work on is the best thing that happened each day.
The small things that bring joy to my life are really important during a rough week (or day). I have enjoyed the blue sky, the geese returning, the spring birds, the warmer temps, and so much more.
When things in life are hard, remember that God loves you. Then look around for those things that bring a smile to your face. Smile, it is good for you, your health, and your own attitude.
Work on a quilt UFO project or start something new. Quilting will make you happy.
Even maintenance or small repairs on your sewing machine can bring a grin to your face.
Smile. Love life. Enjoy the small things. Quilt.
When things and days are tough – humor, quilting, and getting by – will get you through. Better times will come.
