Life is busy. I am behind on my quilting projects, especially the mystery quilt I started back in November from Bonnie Hunter. But at least the mystery slowly progresses and has not stopped. My list of quilt projects does not need to include any new UFOs.
I like to make mystery quilts because they are not my normal type of patterns and color combinations. Outside the box can be a good thing.
Currently I am working on week 4 and wanted to share the photos of the parts so far.
These pieces are week 1 and 3 combined (below).
And here is Week 2 complete!
The mystery slowly progresses:
The moral for this post is just to keep working at your projects. Life does interrupt our quilting. All of us have good, bad, and indifferent times. Most of us will deal with health issues and family problems. Real life is full of joy, and problems.
An elephant is eaten one bite at a time. Quilts are made one piece at a time. If we stick to it, we will finish our quilt projects.
